A thundery day was spent at MDL’s Sparkes Marina in Hayling Island, when our engineers reconfigured their Speed Queen Commercial machine to the new cardless payment-operated facility, Airwallet.

Sparkes is located on the south-east tip of Hayling Island and lies within Chichester Harbour – one of Europe’s largest natural harbours. The area is famous for its birds and marine life and stunning sunsets.

The facilities at this 140-berth marina include 24-hour showers and toilets, an office and reception. There are also on-site marine engineers, fibreglass repair services and a waterside bar and kitchen with wonderful views.

In addition to the above, the marina also has a laundry room for resident and traveling yachties to wash their kits, and now there’s no need to carry money to operate the machinery. The Airwallet is app operated and uses the latest technology to operate, negating the use of cash or cards. Easy!
