Colten Care

“We have a very long standing relationship with Southern Contracts and have dealt with them for over 20 years, especially dealing directly with Barbara who provides us with a very professional service.

As a family run business ourselves, we understand the importance of true customer service to ensure that in turn, we are able to offer our clients the very best.

Southern Contracts look after all our laundry machines – over 45 in total – across our 21 privately owned care homes.  When new equipment is required, Southern Contracts install all new equipment with the minimum amount of fuss and are very, very efficient.  They carry out our gas safety tests and provide our gas safe certificates and are always very supportive. We strongly recommend them.”

Marine

"Our experience in supplying to the marine and offshore industry is second to none and we pride ourselves on delivering an expert global service to every customer we have worked with, having developed a total understanding of the requirements and expectations of both commercial and navy marine sectors – not simply supplying equipment but the skills and expertise of a trained sales and service team

As a supplier of laundry, galley and floor cleaning equipment to Carnival (P&O) since 1964, we have a total grasp of the attention required after months at sea working at full capacity. Our engineers attend vessels for equipment overhaul whenever vessels in dry dock, ensuring that everything is audited and serviced to keep things literally shipshape.

Our ten year enabling contract with the Royal Navy, to supply and maintain the laundry and galley equipment, has required us to dedicate a member of staff who works to the Royal Navy’s computerised system, re-labelling part and model numbers with the NATO Stock Number (NSN), trains on-board maintainers and staff how to use/repair equipment and goods are delivered on time."
