Founded in 1964 to supply and maintain commercial special voltage floor care and commercial laundry equipment required by the shipping industry, we are a global supplier to the Marine and Off Shore Industries, with major customers including:

1964 Southern Contract is Founded

Southern Contracts was formed by Norman Elphinstone Sr. in 1964 and is now in its third generation of family ownership.

1969 Hotel and Care Sector

In 1969, the Company entered the Hotel and Care Sector market and since then has become well known for their expertise in supplying industrial laundry equipment, specifically commercial washing machines and industrial tumble dryers.
