As part of our ongoing relationship with EDC (Egyptian Drilling Company), we have just delivered two Electrolux Professional Green & Clean hood type marine warewashing dishwashers. One destined for their Rig 57 and the other Rig 9.
EDC is one of the leading drilling contractors in Egypt and the MENA region, and is 100% owned by Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) . EDC owns and operates a staggering 70 rigs, including six jack-ups, two offshore platform Rigs, and the rest being on shore Rigs.

The marine grade #warewashers are of stainless steel construction to include single skin hood, external, front and side panels, wash tank, tank filter plus wash and rinse arms. Using just 2 litres of clean water per final rinse cycle. With a 84°C rinse temperature and pressure guaranteed by an AISI 304 built in atmospheric boiler and built in rinse booster pump. Washing performance is guaranteed by a powerful 0.8 kW wash pump and upper and lower stainless steel revolving washing spray arms. The unit includes a rinse aid dispenser pump and is equipped with flexible fill hoses. Convertible from straight to corner operation and delivered on height-adjustable feet.
Sustainability
- The machine can be connected to cold water.
- Requires only 2 litres of water per washing cycle thus ensuring low energy, water, detergent and rinse aid consumption.
