WITH the continued growth of Southern Contracts, the area’s leading supplier of kitchen and laundry commercial appliances, it became apparent that another pair of hands were required.

Southern Contracts is delighted to welcome Sham Kumar to the team as their new Goods In Supervisor. Sham has been a friend and neighbour to the company for many years and brings with him lots of experience from working with his previous employer of 17 years, dealing with incoming goods and their redistribution.

Hailing from the Punjab originally, he relocated to the UK two decades ago after meeting and marrying his wife, whom he met whilst working as a photographer.

Adam Elphinstone, MD of Southern Contracts said: “We have known Sham for a long time and he lives directly across the street from our head office, so at least he won’t be affected by train strikes when commuting to work! We’re delighted to have his smiling face onboard and to help speed up the distribution process when the appliances arrive with us from the manufacturers, before being delivered to our clients.”
