A recent installation of a Miele Professional #PDR516 slimline dryer took place near Caerphilly in Wales this month.

Owned by Forest Gate Healthcare, Oakdale Manor is located in the historic town of Blackwood, nestled in the the Sirhowy Valley. Famous for being the centre of the Chartist movement in the 1830s, Blackwood now has the landmark Arup designed Chartist Bridge as a monument, linking the east and west sides of the #Sirhowy Valley.

Posing a modern day challenge to our team – that of course we rose to, with assistance from Francis & Co – first the old dryer had to be dismantled as it was too big to fit through the doorways. It was also necessary to remove the entrance door and frame.

The PDR516 is ideal for use in #carehomes and the hospitality industry as it uses the shortest cycles possible to dry its contents, saving energy thanks to the diagonal air flow.
