BOURNEMOUTH based, Southern Contracts are again delighted to announce a further contract with Babcock International, who have secured an agreement with the Ministry of Defence, Defence Equipment and Support for the Asset Availability Service (AAS), involving the support and maintenance of Domestic Equipment fitted to Royal Navy ships and submarines.

As part of Babcock’s new 10 year contract with the MoD, Southern Contracts will be providing a further ten years of support to encompass the new £18 million contract for the provision of support to Domestics Master Equipment fitted aboard In-Service ships and submarines. “The Babcock team has played a vital role in maintaining Domestic Assets for this customer over the last 15 years, and we are delighted that this agreement has not only continued, but grown.”
