We were recently lucky enough to be invited onboard the Yacht Noorderzon while she was in port at @hytheshipyard.

We were there to service her galley and Miele Professional laundry equipment.

An amazing vessel, she was built in the Netherlands, originally as a tug boat but was converted into a luxury yacht by Balk Shipyard in 2012. Her exterior renovation is the work of Felix Buytendijk Yacht Design.

With an onboard gym, the Noorderzon can now comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests across 3 suites, plus 3 crew to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

She’s a beautiful specimen and is of strong steel hull and steel superstructure construction with teak decks, comfortably cruising at 10 knots with a maximum speed of 14 knots and a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles.

It was a real privilege for us to be onboard such a special vessel.
