South Coast based Southern Contracts has now completed Phase 2 of its recent contract with Carnival Cruises.
As part of an ongoing overhaul across their fleet, Cunard (part of the Carnival Cruises group of companies) are undertaking full refits of all passenger and crew laundrettes on across their fleet.
The first to be completed was a refit of these launderettes onboard the Queen Mary II which was completed last month.
This latest phase was involved sourcing and exporting the equipment to the Queen Elizabeth, which is currently in dry dock in Singapore.

Adam added, “There will be one further fit out before Christmas, but the remaining 9 vessels will be updated next year, ready for the summer cruise season.”
